I noticed the same sound on mine (with core wheels). I think it’s just small rocks/pebbles stuck in the tire treads that make a crackling sound when the truck is moving.

I think it is the covers — I have that same sound from the covers. I think. Could they be Little Rock’s inside the wheels? I thought it might be rocks inside the covers— pulled them off and no rocks.

Seems like they may have installed them incorrectly. They are very finicky.
My recommendation FWIW
Remove them. Disassemble each one. Reinstall aligning the tabs to the tires.
There should be plenty of installation demonstrations on YouTube.

Heard it for the first time yesterday and about shit myself thinking I blew out a CV joint or was losing the strut top hat right then and there…will check cover install today all around. I did remove the covers for tire black application, leaving the frames in place, so I can’t imagine it was caused by anything other than my removal/reinstall.

Tesla Cybertruck Aero Covers Cracking sound 1000000901

Not sure if it's gonna work but put these on as an absorber and protector I already noticed there was marks from the Hubcaps forming on the wheels. Gonna test but might work. Had these leftover from my hubcaps on my modem 3

It’s just a Tesla thing in general, not a CT exclusive thing. The Model Y Geminis and the old Model 3 Aeros go snap-crackle-pop too. Wheel covers suck. I’m getting center caps ASAP.
