They didn't even say anything, I probably wouldn't have noticed except I'd adjusted and removed the flap previously.

I am super curious if newer trucks come with this by default.

Yeah, these quick release things are shown in this video. I expect they will be part of the standard install.

I guess they would rather look for rust spots on the stainless steel or figure out ways to make it seem like Cybertruck windshields are having an epidemic of breakage. ?
