I think anything is better than plastic. If I didn’t have access to Jasper and his skills I probably would have done something like you did…. What was Tesla thinking?
It just looks so much less sharp with all that trim in SS. The black trim really makes the angles pop. I’d be all for getting rid of plastic, but I’d need them in black and to have crossbar mount access. But glad plenty of others dig this design!Ahh , I was banging shovels, branches, and pallets up against those sail panels and walked away with no scratches!!
Your man did a outstanding job. I have been watching your posts on this for a long time now and it looks like the final product with beveling turned out GREAT. Though I have 4 cross bars I only use the front two and side rails from MARS for all my lights so nice to see he is offering the different pieces so ppl can decide which works best for their setup.
Thanks, I’ll be swinging by the shop today to swap out my tailgate cover for the final version with flush mount hardware and proper Cybertruck sanded finish. Stand by for photos and probably a quick YouTube follow up video.
