I am not aware of anyone (myself included) in Tennessee with even a VIN assigned, unfortunately.

No delivery, and no VIN yet. 12/16 configuration date.

I was contacted by the Tesla selected electrician though for the wall charger and PowerShare install. He came out this morning to assess things for an estimate, and told me he’d have the estimate to me by tonight or Monday.

Take it with a grain of salt, but while he was here he told me that Tesla advised him they were 6-8 weeks out on delivery and I should be getting a VIN soon. Not sure if that’s 6-8 weeks from when they first contracted him for installs, or 6-8 weeks from now.

I was surprised he was already coming out since there’s been no movement on the VIN since December.

FWIW the Nashville SC told me the rumors at the time (Dec) indicated delivery by Mid-Feb... that came and went. I have a trip planned for late April that relies on CT so let's hope we get some TN VINs soon!

Additional grain of salt: The person scheduling the site visit for our PowerShare install estimate said Tesla said "Your Cybertruck will be delivered in 4-6 weeks". Obviously I know it's highly unlikely that an electrical contractor would have any more info than the rest of us (just like SC employees). But I do find it interesting that another user here was told 6-8 weeks in a similar communication. Makes me think that Tesla isn't just sending out the same message to all contractors- and there may be some rhyme or reason behind these dates being shared by the PowerShare installers.

FWIW: The email that told me "4-6 weeks" came on March 6. So we'll see if that date range ends up being true.

And the PowerShare side of the house is a different division than the vehicles. They've never had to talk to each other before.

The folks in the stores and service centers often know less than you hear on the forums.
