You can order the part only delivered to your local Service Center or have them install them. I don't have the exact cost, but it's surprisingly affordable for a plastic body part. I look at them as expendable and just have Service replace them. Costs less than filling up our F-150, LOL!
i have the delete kit but i also have an appointment this week to see service. will check with them on the pricing before i do anything. if it doesnt cost too much in labor i would do it. if it does cost alot in labor i will just install my delete kit.

I have a delete kit for the rear fairings from evbase. They’re unused.
i used the front but don’t have a need for rear. You can have it for $30 shipped if you want. Pm me interested

appreciate the offer. i already got a delete set back in February but was too lazy to install them. plus we had snow until mid March. i will get it fixed one way or another sometime this month for sure.

do you have pictures of your vehicle with just the front deleted?

Pain in the ass. I don’t remember how much but having Tesla mobile do it was very cheap
Spendiest option which has many other benefits is terrestrial armor. The delete kit is cool and what I was using before armor but be aware that @Urander has measured a pretty significant efficiency loss just from this one mod. In other words, we break them a lot but there is a reason Tesla put them there.

thanks for this thread....

I had the one on the drivers side rear get some damage after i ran over something in the HOV lane. went and ordered both sides and got em, even though the passenger side was factory fresh. well i got to readin' about the fairing "delete" comments here and got to thinking about it. i prefer the look without them so luckily I was able to get a free delete kit( I'm an Amazon vine reviewer) from amazon. its the same kit you see everywhere just a different name from a new vendor.

anyway, i much prefer the look and i swear the car drives faster now.... :geek:

I deleted mine, the old ones were full of asphalt and rocks and just gross. I like not having to worry about them anymore and no appreciable drop in range. Plus I needn't worry if I want to go over a curb to park in the dirt or some of the deep potholes near my cabin. There was crazy snow up there and like 3 of the fairings were hanging, so that is when I deleted this year.

The first time I took one off I notice a weight in there. I was like huh? Did they weigh these down a little then I left it out and came back only to find it has dried out and crumbled. I only then realized it was road dirt. Disgusting.

I am planning on the delete kit myself. I lost one (somewhere) and 2 of the 3 remaining are hanging on like Stallone in Cliffhanger. The last 2 are victims of our last Blizzard in the northeast. Frozen mountains of ice (even little ones) are like ninjas in the dark. One quick slice, and they are fineeto (aka dead).

I had Tesla replace both on the passenger side, fee was 180$ installed.

It's a lot of the labor. I bought the front and both rears for $100, $70 for the front and $15 each for the rears. The labor I think I was quoted $130? I told them forget the labor just give me the parts and I'll install then myself.

I already have the delete kit and will install that but at least I have the option on hand to go back to stock if I wanted to.
