Anyone concerned about the sunlight and heat build up under the large windshield surface?

I dont think they are going to do anything cute out of the gate. They may have options, but really Tesla seems to keep options very simple. I would be surprised if they even have a solar option or a airless tire option. I think they are going to try to hit that toyota tacoma offroad crowd add ons. A rack system, possibly a partnership with a company for a tent system, possibly an attachment for a spare tire, off road light options, probably some kind of tool storage.

I get this isn't an accessories post but since we are on the topic, but it has to do with heat sort of. I will be very surprised if Tesla sticks with the solar tonneau cover. The tonneau cover is already very complicated and adding a wiring and solar cells just sounds like it will add so many electrical and waterproofing complications that it wont be worth it. I will definitely be installing a solar panel somewhere to keep the 48V battery system nice and charged.
