They say short trailers are difficult to keep straight while backing up. This, is in conjunction with not being able to see the trailer on a sloping boat ramp makes it even more difficult. Rear cameras dont help because they don't show the angle of the trailer with respect to the bumper until its too late. side mirrors dont help because the narrow trailer is not visible until its too late. The only visual clue is looking out the rear window but the trailer goes out of view as it goes down the ramp. Given the small rear window of the Cybertruck I think would make it even worse. I doubt the side cameras on the cyber truck would have view of the trailer either. Any one have experience with this situation.

I have a double trailer so the mirrors work a little better than for a single, however I learned to back a trailer looking out the back window so I'm a little rusty at the mirror method.

I do drop the tailgate and pull back the tonneau so I can see out and it works for me.

I put a jetski in the water with my truck. It wasn’t easy to see, so I opened the camera app that shows a bigger rear view and the side cameras. That was enough vision to see what I needed.

I have a short motorcycle trailer, same issue as a jet ski trailer in that it’s hard to keep straight or see while backing up.

The rear wheel steering combined with steering by wire and the rear view cameras made it a breeze. Way easier than previous vehicles I’ve towed it with.
