Do you already have the trailer? The drop from the receiver to hitch at truck tow height and trailer level is an important factor .
Tesla calls out 7.3 max from pin to ball, but with your load, that's less of an issue. I picked up a 7,500 pound 2" ball carrier from U-haul and that worked fine.

These RhinoHitch hitches are amazing. You can literally adjust them while still attached to the trailer. I know a guy that got routed around a wreck that took him down into the ditch between freeway lanes. He jack-knifed vertically on the steep ditch. So, he got out, jacked his trailer up with its jack and adjusted the hitch up to the new height, and pulled through the ditch. Check them out. (And no, I don't work for them. Just love the product.)

Weigh safe hitches have a scale that shows the actual tongue weight, with all the concerns of the bumper ripping off it gives you safe feeling knowing it is not overloaded. Plus you can balance the trailer cargo to avoid swaying issues.

If going the quantitative route, also use the pin to ball distance in your calculations.
The RhinoHitch looks to have a longer lever arm than recommend .

I often tow my 25' boat, my side by side, and even a tree shredder with this hitch by SHocker Hitch - has an airbag to really cushion things. I bought the version with ball and Pintle.
