Anyone Recieved ViN Before Loan App?

My 2nd loan app just expired. My order was 12/8. Has anyone received their VIN before applying for a Tesla loan?

I'm not sure if I should apply again or wait since the app now expires in 30 days instead of 60.

1st loan was 6.79% on 12/8
2nd loan was 6.59% on 2/10
Now the rates shows 6.49%

Should I apply now or wait until I have a VIN?

You should wait, despite the app suggesting that delivery could be slowed by not completing all of the delivery steps. They really need to do a better job of communicating that.

Yea, I have also decided to wait on finance portion. Ordered 1/23 in Jersey, so I am not in a rush. But that blue button that says Complete tasks is haunting.

I recommend waiting for A VIN. I ordered mine on 12/29 and did the loan app, which expired on 3/1. Received my VIN on 3/10, then submitted the loan app and rate went from 7.5% to 6.5%. Guess that is one positive thing waiting for my VIN.

I only had registration complete and still received a vin. Subsequently did nothing and waited it out until Tesla SA text me saying when the truck would be arriving and if I would be available to schedule pickup.

That's when I completed all the tasks. Pickup this weekend!

I have done the loan app previously with other Teslas and they expired so wasn't doing that again.
