The truck lowers for entry. Why would anyone need steps.
I agree. It seems some people don't want to put extra wear and tear on their air suspension by letting the truck lower for entry, but that's what it's designed to do and you don't need to buy additional accessories to make it work. I can understand wanting to customize your truck and make it yours though.

The truck actually lowers while parked so it’s in that low setting the whole time. I honestly HATE the way the Cybertruck looks at the Low setting, so I have it Ride Higher and also don’t use the easy entry setting.

For that use case, some side steps can be useful. But I don’t use those either. :)

I really like my t-sportline ones and they are a must for tiny people.
But alas, they will be going away soon. As soon as that terrestrial armor package even hints at being back in stock. Why oh why did I hesitate?

So at some point, if any of you want a pair of these covered in xpel armor, hit me up.

I have mine lower each time. I also just had it in the shop to fix the hydraulics and would rather not need to do that again.
I had a model Y loaner for 2 weeks. I’ve been dealing with a left groin pull for almost a year. It felt healed after a week with the Y. I’m suspecting now that the higher step out of my truck is causing it. It’s what brought me to this thread.
I also drive my parents and my mother is under 5’. I’m hopeful it might also help her.

Well, there are several reasons for this. Perhaps I don’t want my suspension to drop every time someone enters or exits the ride. Alternatively, I prefer to step in using the step when it’s snowing so that I can easily remove the snow from my boots. Additionally, I don’t like other cars dinging my PPF wrap when they open their doors, and this step provides a barrier.

There are many possibilities, but none of them involve me lowering the suspension every time. That’s why I asked about these steps.

Did you rhino line your plastics? or is that just the way it looks in the pic?

They are covered in xpel armor sold by abstract ocean. @AO-Pete was great at helping me get custom pieces to accommodate the step and it really helped tie everything together visually I think.
