go cruise around outside GFTX - there’s so much construction and earthmoving that anything left uncovered quickly looks like a prop for a post-apocalypse movie
and its humid out there so that stuff sticks.

I really think it would be a great idea for Tesla to have this image with their name on it, when they email people to start configuring their truck. Well done

For latest official info.

Wait for update in Tesla's quarter results after hours (stock market hours).

The market is also waiting for news about the Cybertruck.

Isn't this the first time we've actually seen four Cybertrucks (outside) together without covers? Nice!

People keep indicating that these are to Tesla employee friends and family as actual deliveries… is their really proof of that?
They’re not. Every truck built so far goes to an engineering team, is for a crash test, or the EPA for range testing.

To expand on this just for funsies, think about every sub-system in a vehicle. Low voltage electronics, high voltage, passive safety, camera, autopilot, ADAS, closures, lighting, interiors, connectivity, steering, etc…

Then you have dynamics and chassis teams. NVH, powertrain and system integration teams. Each one gets multiple trucks. There’s more teams than this and some teams get 5-10 trucks. It adds up quickly.

Whatever material is used for the vault tonneau cover surrounds, I hope it's thicker and smoother in the pilot or final production units delivered:

I had not said anything on this but others had previously pointed it out. With four otherwise awesome looking candidates parked together, and since it's already a non-glossy surface, with the sun angle and from this view it's hard to ignore. Looks easy to fix though, as in just choice of material thickness I would think.

Yea, as a work truck, the top surround seems the most likely to damage.
But the material used could be the same as the bed lining, perhaps stronger than it looks.
