I tried it between 2 other cars at a supercharger stall and it parked evenly between them (with what I thought was a bit too much steering back and forth). However when I got out to plug in the truck was not far enough back for the cable to reach and I had to manually back it up further to get the cable to reach. Honestly I think the chargers need longer cables because I had to be within a few inches to get the cable to plug in and I don't think autopark is ever going to get that close.

Glad it's out at least, indicating FSD not too far off likely. Kinda surprised it hesitates quite a bit at first moving forward to get into a start position, then in its reversing really goes back and for more than expected to adjust - very real-time adjustments I guess as cameras pick up more.
Agreed. I feel like I'd rarely use it, but it's exciting.

That is pretty nice to see.

Anyone else notice that the steering wheel turns more than its allowed when driving in that video?

My steering wheel only seems to tur about 120 degrees. The wheel in the video looks to be about 160 degrees.

Yup, and Elon commented on the X post that the movement is not necessary as the wheel is not physically coupled with the wheels, at all.

That is what I was imagining FSD to be with the CT. No wheel turn at all when activated because of the Drive By Wire.

Glad to see it is based on the week 32 branch. I was worried we were going to get stuck on the 26 branch waiting for FSD since we didn't get 2024.32.3.

I thought 170 degrees was standard lock?

Can't wait to see a video of parallel self-parking.

One would think that Tesla would have that as a test case for AutoPark, especially for the Cybertruck.

It still needs to be turned even is a fake action just for the comfort for the person behind the wheel ( or squacle)
Yeah, agree and I was thinking it'll always turn because there is the case of needing to take over in auto park or FSD. It would be odd if the car is making a sharp turn, you need to immediately take over and do a large turn to left to counter, but the wheel is flat... would need to turn way beyond what is typically normal in that case, and then likely somehow figure out when to recenter it ... otherwise to go straight you would be driving with the wheel turned left.
