If that rumor is true, this is HUGE news for us.The Spring software update was announced - it sounds like the S3XY cars are getting B Pillar footage saved in their dashcam and sentry mode now. Any word on if/when it’s coming to the Cybertruck?
I wonder why they didn’t do that with our cyber. Would love matrix on itI saw they said comfort mode on autopilot for CT. hopefully means autopilot release?
also Wes confirmed no matrix on the CT huge bummer
Lars said they couldn't fit it in the space.I wonder why they didn’t do that with our cyber. Would love matrix on it
But what about this?I wonder why they didn’t do that with our cyber. Would love matrix on it
But what about this?
Yeah you're right. It was buried lower in the thread. Oh well. Nice to have but not essential imo. What I do find interesting is him saying thin little modules. The new Y's headlights look kinda thin
They are projected to have a refresh this year. What does new model S/x mean? Is that the refresher model, or something else?
I saw they said comfort mode on autopilot for CT. hopefully means autopilot release?
That makes sense. I hope they get on it soon. I had a road rage incident that the B pillar cameras would have a perfect angle of, but conveniently it was in a blind spot for all the other cameras.Regarding CT not listed as getting b-pillar footage for Sentry and Dashcam, if it really isn't getting it in the Spring update, my guess is Tesla needs to write additional software code to get the b-pillar video recorded. The CT architecture is totally different from the rest of the SEXY cars; it's using an ethernet loop for everything (including sound sent to speakers) so maybe the code for the SEXY cars won't work on CT.
