If you can comfortably afford a beast then buy it. Even if you can't use its full potential most of the time, its nice to have as a party trick.

But if you're also bragging about your 98% fsd usage, then you just shat that extra 20-40k down the drain

Beast is the top of the line - and will pull more and accelerates well - like a beast- if you have owned corvettes and Porsche sports car - the Beast is the ticket. The Beast will always be worth more than the AWD model - and it will always be more rare. Look at porsche the vintage high hp models of the 911 command two to three times than the simple Carrera! Tesla needs a convertible Beast next. Convertibles hold value—also

For those who have driven both. Do you feel a huge difference in performance? Like is it obviously noticeable?

Yes. The beast is bonkers. The best way I can describe it is that it accelerates at the limit of traction at least up to highway speeds.
