Let me know how it looks if you go with the wire loom, I don't love the look of the wires but can live with them.
Had to do a similar mirror zip tie job.
IF you have any movement putting a small piece (a little smaller than the CT mirror) of plastic drawer liner (typically used for toolboxes, a very thin foam) should help.
Link to liner
Not visible and makes it so there is NO movement.

How is your heat on your screen? Was adjusting some things and felt a little warm 120F seems kinda hot for being inside a 70 degree garage.

(screen protector is still on until I ultra finish my install)

I used a non aggressive double sided carpet tape between the CT mirror and the new mirror. I'm holding out hope they make a bracket that will fit the ball end of the CT bracket. I already popped the CT mirror off so just have to get it to fit the Wolfbox mounting bracket. I'll try the wire loom tomorrow and post some pic's. Never checked the temp or noticed any overheating. I'll check that too.

I want to put a bit of black tape to hide the frayed edges of the wire loom. I think it looks better. Forgot the temp measurement. Another day.

I used 1/4" but you might be able to go down to 1/8" wire loom. I think in the resting position it's the diameter they say. The 1/4" is about 1" flattened out so 1/8 may work. They only sell 1/8 in 25' length.

Yea, I only ran two wires so was eyeballing the 1/8. 25' though is..... a lot lol

I originally had the Wolfbox G900 and it worked well, but I swapped to the Jomise T860+ because I liked the fact that it was slightly smaller, rectangular and lacked an integrated front camera (which I don't need, since my radar detector blocks much of the front camera view. Unfortunately, the Jomise died after about 3-4 months and I switched back to the Woflbox (it's been going strong for 6+ months). I'm mounted on the tonneau aero panel w/ a 3D printed camera cover that's been posted here before. I shifted the aim slightly since it was too low for my camera.

I have the mirror itself attached to the original CT mirror ball mount, so no straps holding it in place. It also moves the mirror closer to the windshield so there's less interference with the interior camera.

I would assume most of these distributors are using the same physical hardware. The Hansshow looks like the Jomise, so perhaps the quality issues some people have experienced are related.

I did run the rear camera cable through the headliner so it's pretty neat, but the USB-C power cable is just twisted with my radar detector cable and plugged into a 120V USB power brick in my console. By no means neat, but functional.

I’ve done something pretty similar, except in my case the wire is internal and I have notched the housing to accommodate. One advantage is that the frayed edges of the loom can just be tucked into the hole.

Did you add anything to the CT mount ball end? The adapter plate I have is too large for the CT ball. I have the G900 Pro which may have a different ball receiver on the mounting plate.

There's a 3D printed shell around the Cybertruck's mirror ball. The STL was provided to me by @CYBERTRUCKco. Since it wasn't my STL, don't want to share it unless they approve.

I printed it in CF reinforced nylon with enough walls that it's essentially solid, so it's as durable as any of the ABS plastic used by the mount.

I was not brave enough to drill that big of a hole. I needed one wire to go into that panel so I put a small notch up at the glass. Kind of a semicircle so it didn't pinch the wire. One drawback to the Wolfbox is all the wire connections are on the top rather than to back side.

And we aren't using our kit anymore, so anybody in San Diego that wants a free digital mirror message me to come pick it up.

Thanks for the info, I sent a DM to Rodger.

Interesting, glad that the wolfbox has been going strong.

Does that wolfbox mounting plate fit right into the original Cybertruck arm????

Do you have any pictures of the camera cover on the back? Have tried 3 different covers, none of which fit the wolfbox rear camera....
