OK, got our VIN # today and when we got to the payment page, my wife and I were discussing how long we thought it would be if we waited for the non-Foundation series.

What’s your best educated guess on how long it would be to get a delivery if we waited for a non-Foundation series?

Update: we went ahead and submitted the payment. Heard that the Service Center in our city had a CT on display (it happened to be one of two that fell off a car carrier after the driver fell asleep) so we went down to see what we just spent all that money on. After looking at the truck and playing with all the do dads, we saw a few trucks around the side of the service center. We went around to look and there were 30 of them! Just for fun, I started looking at VIN numbers on the trucks and to my surprise, our truck was one of them. Manufacture date of 4/12/24 seven days ago. Service Center had no idea how long it would be before we got a call.

I think Tesla is going to milk this as long as possible. EV sales are in the crapper and this is the hottest EV that has been out in a long time. 100k is a lot for a vehicle so eventually it will slow up. But they are selling all they can make now.
