Black interior trim!! And protective wrap?!

So I went to the SC just to check out the black interior trim. It’s a different material than the white. Feels a little gritty like a softer sandpaper feel. Not as soft as the white. Doesn’t look bad. My main complaint with white is the dammnnnmmnn reflections you get once you have dark tint on the sides. No one prepared me for that lol. White trim reflects and fills the side mirrors in daylight and they are almost unusable. Black trim solves that completely. But white pops better at night with the LED strip. Pros and cons. Also, anyone else get their Cyber with this protective wrap?? Mine def didn’t have any of this. Even on the cameras! Wish it did.

Just got my windows tinted and noticed the same thing with the reflection. I have the white interior in my Y and was aware of the reflection but it was never a big deal. Tint amplifies the issue. I'll probable live with it and if I can't, wrap the dash in carbon fiber or something.

When I picked mine up in March, I watched the service center remove the plastic from the seats and they left the film on the cameras which I peeled off myself.

Them peeling off the protective wrap seems counter intuitive to me. Why not let the customer do that lol. Makes it feel BRAND NEW. And everyone loves a little plastic removal from a very expensive product. Or am I crazy?

Hate to break it to you. But yes. And your car probably got felt up hard-core too. It was on the charger and all those cars are unlocked by the way. Don’t worry, I just opened the door and looked inside. But not before I quickly felt up and molested every inch of it.

People who care about their vehicles prefer to take the protective wrap off, while those who don't care as much prefer to have their car be fully prepped when they pick it up.

I called the Ford dealership and had them leave the wrap/plastic on absolutely everything when I picked up my Bronco, but I couldn't do that with my Cybertruck.

My front display did not have the factory screen protective peel on it during delivery but the rear display did. I'm unsure what the protocol is but it felt strange that one was peeled off while the other was not removed.

I still have some protective peel in some places...lol. One month later. Don't know why. I just recently removed it from pillars when putting on black matrix vinyl.

A month ago when I took delivery, it was washed, cleaned, tires polished... and all plastic on interior trims and consoles were left intact. Sunnyvale, CA Service center did good...

I ordered some black leather vinyl with a self-stick on the back and it looks and works perfectly.
I was very lucky in that it is a third black color in the mix but they complement each other.
