BoomBox Sound

I can't get sound to play through the external speaker. I tried replacing the car lock sound with different sounds and nothing works.

Any tips or something I may be missing?

This seems a bit flakey to me… mine works, but doesn’t always play a sound when in boombox using the preview button, or switching sounds. Also, it’s pretty quiet when it does work.

I did get mine working. The speaker is pretty quiet and the horn switches back once you drive. I gave up on it yesterday, but when I parked somewhere today and walked away the truck quacked at me!

Getting the truck to fart in the live view camera doesn’t work all the time and when it does it is too quiet.

It may be expecting a certain length of the sound, or a particular file size.
You might also have to boost the volume of the file digitally.

My guess is that there is a restrictive set of formats and types supported.

my boombox speaker is way to quiet. it is also very inconsistent when trying to get it to play noise.

My other issue is that it doesn't recognize the additional custom sounds i have on my usb. i used the usb from my Plaid that works perfect on that car and the truck doesn't recognize that there are files.

yea the UFO noise, it makes one in forward at low speeds too i believe.

On my model Y I installed an online switch to disable whenever I wanted. Rarely used it. Set do you want to build a snowman as my lock sound and my daughter would flip out if it didn't go off Everytime.

My new to me X doesn't have the speaker though. When I was test driving it my daughter asked about the song lol
