Botched Cybertruck Investor Early Delivery Email Rollout?

In the screenshot below Tesla's VP of Investor Relations tweeted-

"If you requested an early Cybertruck delivery, check your inbox!​

We just sent out a request for documentation submission."​

However, many on this forum, including myself, have NOT received the email, going on two days now. I have tried contacting my local delivery center team via text message, I sent along a tweet, and even sent an email to Martin direct. No responses yet.

I'm hoping that they can shed some light on this soon, as it seems many people did indeed receive the email, but there's no information as to why there are those who have not. For those that have received the email, can help look into potential issues by giving answers to the following?

1. Did you connect of your investment account to Tesla via "Say" (I did)​

2. Did you have a "Backup" investor email set (I did not)​

3. When did you actually sign up via the investor page? (I signed up within an hour of the offer going live)​

4. Did you sign-up with an account email set that used Google's Gmail email service? (I did)​

I really hope that Martin and his team will look into this, and help us figure out why so many have not gotten their emails yet.

EDIT / UPDATE 3/27/2024 - I got my email today, documents submitted. Didn't really have an easy way to redact the PDFs, so just sent them complete with all holdings.

Yup I think it’s a shitshow where anyone could have “signed up” and so they probably have tens of thousands of submissions to sort through. Not to mention it seems like people who signed up through say didnt recieve email but I don’t think say confirms dates of holdings so they should have received email.

This was just a lever pulled to access demand. It’s not like the 30000 point thingy where they want to give the truck to an influencer so they can make videos about the truck.

Wouldn't they have gone in order though? Also in another thread one person who got the email did say he was connected through Say, and as far as I know Say would still have to be verified given that it doesn't give historical data.

I feel like no matter what Martin could have at least given some clarification, vs making that tweet telling everyone to check their email.

Think it is based on volume of shares, I have xx,xxx shares and have had them for some time
Tesla I think is sending to shareholders with the highest # of shares first

I've got thorough the whole process and only have x,xxx shares so don't think it's based upon number of shares - my 2 cents. Kudo's for the extra digit!

@Crissa, the problem in my case was that there was no communication after the first wave of emails and everyone here pretty much submitted within a couple of hours of each other (i.e., pretty much as soon as we saw the notice). Tesla should have sent a notification to everyone saying that they were about to start the documentation request process and as long as we had submitted before EOD March 22nd we would get the email. It is not a big deal in this day and age to send out a boilerplate email. Heaven knows that Tesla IR does it enough already. They dropped the ball and that doesn't make us prima donnas.

Interesting, I went into tools in Preview on my Mac and there is a setting called 'redact'. You just drag a box over an area and it redacts that whole area. Much easier than drawing a box over it.
