I had posted in the past about my disappointment with the CT’s braking power. I was wrong. My issue was not that I’m unfamiliar with driving large trucks which I’m very familiar with but with not adapting with the regen braking. I actually was over reliant on the regen braking and found myself applying brakes too late when necessary. This is different when you drive a normal car and your foot is already feathering the brake to get to a stop when an emergency occurs. Here your foot is actually still on the accelerator while braking which makes for a delayed responses when the actual brakes need engagement. But I think it is just a learning curve and I take my statements back that the brakes are a weak point on the CT. The brakes are just fine you just need to get the hang of it.

I'd upgrade my CT brakes if there were an upgrade. They are poor and the regen seems to disengage completely when you press the brake.

I own a G-wagon with is comparable to weight and horsepower - and the AMG G-Wagon brakes are the 'Hand of God'...it stops on a dime - straight and stable.

I can certainly live with it as-is.. However, it is top on my list of 'things to add'...

Regards
Jack
