I plan on keeping my (kind of expensive) MTB in the vault bed when I travel over the summer for days and sometimes weeks at a time in remote and sometimes maybe sketchy parking locations.

Has anyone had their vault broken into? How possible is it for someone to enter the bed by breaking or peeling open the tonneau? My alternative is buying a diamondback tonneau for my tacoma but the Cybertruck method seems so much better and simpler.. just concerned about the safety of it.

Additionally, in a case where someone was able to break window to access the cabin, there's no way into the vault still right?

Remote means sounds don't exist unless someone is there to listen.

If someone wants in, they get in. Remote also usually means time is often unlimited for the bad person.

One can deter, but I could be in a vault in about 10-15 seconds. Vault would be ruined however.

Question is. Does someone know what is inside, and is it worth the time for the unknown.

Only leave in your vehicle--any vehicle--what you're ok with being stolen. Best feature of the Cybertruck vault is no one knows what's inside.

Someone with a very small frame could get into the vault from the back seat, would take some motivation and broken glass though. As tough as the glass is would likely be easier to break in the vault.

Non foundation trucks have tie downs you could add a lock. Still most break-ins are into the cabin for a visible bag
