Cameras malfunctioning computer rebooting

I looked and couldn't find a similar post. I was driving and heard a loud crack from the speakers, then the computer rebooted. When it came back up, the cameras did not work properly. The front and back camera turned on and off and are more pixelated when driving. The pillar cameras are also affected in a similar way. The browser won't open, and several of the games won't play. The backup camera stays off for several seconds then flashes on and off. I have rebooted the computer and powered down the car several times with no effect. The computer seems to be running slow. Subsequently the computer has rebooted more times when I'm driving so I'm getting it towed soon. The computer said the tailgate was down at one point along with other alerts I did not catch. The tailgate was closed. The Jacksonville service center is so busy the earliest appointment is in late November. I called them and they said to bring it in Monday. This occurred a few days after the FSD update.

I have this exact problem.
- Cameras are lagging/stuttering/freezing and keep cutting out to black
- System restarting, sometimes with a crack/pop sound through the speakers
- Can't view rear screen on front screen, just closes the app

I have tried the dual thumb reset three times and the system power off - wait 2 minutes - press break peddle to power on, once, no joy.

This morning it was fine for about 60 seconds after leaving it overnight, then it went back to crashing. I suspect it's overheating as the frequency of complete system restarting goes down if all camera feeds are disabled (no rear view). This started on Sunday, I got the FSD update was about a week ago.

I have requested a service, but the earliest is Nov 13th! I can't use the cameras to back up or change lane.

Add "deafening screech sound at max volume through all speakers until system is restarted" to list of symptoms that was quite the shock while driving.

All I know is "waiting for parts" which might be related to the recalls. I don't think they have had time to bring my truck into a service bay.

They replaced the car computer under warranty to fix my issue.

I can't prove it but it seems to me and others that have ridden in the car the camera images are improved greatly after the computer was replaced. Much like going from 1080p to 1440p.

Yes, though it could be that my loan car was a model Y and the cameras were pretty poor compared to the CT, they do seem to have far fewer artifacts after the computer was replaced. I noticed the CT camera pre-fix looked like it had a good resolution, but low bitrate, jpeg-like quality.
