Im pretty new to camping (well, it's been 30 yrs). Were wanting to run up the pch, ca,wa, etc from Texas. we don't need a big camper, small is fine, but is an a-liner (pop-up) worth the extra hassle and cost vs a standard teardrop? anyone towed both? I know towing my pontoon kills mileage and even just my jetski trailer does. So im curious how these 2 kinds of campers compare.

well, I picked up an Airstream basecamp 16' first test of 50 miles at 61mph was around 550wh/mi.... much better than i'd even thought it would be... i'll test at 65mph on the way home to see how much the difference is.
