I have 2 kids that like to watch Youtube clips or Netflix while we drive. When my 9 year old is back there he can just start it himself. But if I just have my 2 year old in the CT she's strapped in the car seat and can't start the video on her own.

I haven't seen a way to start the video on the front screen and "send" it to the back or start it from the front and play in the back once I want to drive.

From what I've seen once I put it in drive the whole thing shuts off since you can't watch and drive obviously.

So what I end up doing is craning my back and neck from the driver's seat to get the video going on the back screen before I drive off.

Hope this makes sense

Yes. But not while driving. Car has to be in park. Open the “rear” app, start whatever you want back there and then put it in drive.
