I remember thinking, oh that's neat, multiple times in a video where they were showing it off.

Same here. I thought about investing in it but was hesitant at the time since it entered as a SPAC. Glad I held off.

Wish I had held back on a rather healthy investment in WKHS. Still holding on to it and a dream.

I think the canoo is bad ass. I ordered a lifestyle vehicle about 18 months ago and this new American bulldog concept is super appealing in name, design and the bed is actually flat wide and usable

I truly hope they make it

These are very cool

Would definitely buy one if I had some laying-around money

Since Canoo they named it the “American Bulldog,” I can’t help but share what is maybe my favorite dog history tidbit - if any here both like dogs/history and didn’t know this one yet.

“Bulldogs” are so-named for the early European sport of Bull-baiting. (Basically, a blood-sport that pitted a bull against dogs.)

There we’re several lines of these “bulldogs,” as breed standards weren’t in existence yet.

When the American British colonies were being populated, some European migrants brought along their bulldogs.

Later, in 1835, British Parliament outlawed the bull-baiting sport. As a result, the bulldogs in England were subsequently down-bred into essentially house pets.

But American settlers still used the bulldog lines as working dogs, and so roughly retained their original attributes.

Which is to say, the “American Bulldog” is actually an extant version of what we’re originally/historically bulldogs from England.

While over in England, those same lines became what we now call “British Bulldogs”
