Name me one single person who paid TWO HUNDRED THOUSAND DOLLARS for a Cybertruck.

give-me-a-break-right.gif

And adding the kids bit just pushed it from over the top, the absurd.
Umm...

1) I said 150-200k - foundation series beast was almost 160k CAD plus tax, then having to get chargers installed pushes to almost 200k. Last time I checked 190k was between 150-200k, no?

2) my young daughters were super excited for me to buy the truck, one of the reasons I bought it was for them. 1 month later they were scared to drive in it because of the number of lunatics who shouted obscenities at us for driving it. If you think that's absurd of me, then I think that says more about you..

Will all new vehicles purchased from here on out have the cantrail issue addressed on delivery?
My Cybertruck delivery was delayed because they still have to fix them. It kinda sucks because they told me it was ready and it wasn’t, they could’ve just been transparent about it. The whole time it seemed like they were trying to keep it on the low. I still want the truck just be honest and upfront.

Pretty simple. Tesla SHOULD compensate for the wrap redo because it’s the right thing to do. Do they have to, legally, probably not. Will they? Probably not…

if They cared about customer service, they probably would. But they don’t want to talk to you and we all keep giving them money, so spin again!

Well I have had my Cantrail Recall replacement serviced here in London Ontario Canada. A brand new service centre.

They just got the parts and replaced the Cantrails. They look the same and fit fine. (2 bolts holding it on not just glue and clip)

It took them 3-4hrs as this was the second truck done. Service centre was great, just had to adjust a price of weather strip at wipers they missed, but it was easy enough.

For no apparent reason but to say. I’m in St Thomas for a few weeks. Attending a wedding. Hello London.

My recall was done almost 2 weeks ago when I got my light bar, no cigarette burn. You can see the bolt location if you really look very hard, but it's unnoticeable in passing, and looks good overall. The back where the cant rail meets the bed i have some bad alignment on one side, I will ask for an adjustment when I go back in for something else. Overall, I was really happy with it.

One other thing for early buyers, I have an April 2024 build for example. They have revised the wiper since that time, they agreed to give me the new wiper. It is exponentially better than the original version, I highly recommend adding the wiper to your service ticket.
What was wrong with your original wiper? Just curious, I want to see if mine has this issue too so I bring it up when my turn comes around, I'm a Sept 24 build.

My wrappers would probably rewraP MY TINY CANTRAILS FOR NO CHARGE.

OR MAYBE CHARGE $100 OR $200 BUCKS.

(Sorry for the capslock...not fixing it) ??‍♂

It's really not a big deal...

It streaked really badly when used. The redesigned wiper doesnt streak, specifically a line that was always down the middle of my windshield.

Just received my notice yesterday in Tesla App that fix is ready and to book appt. with local dealer - so looks like it's coming here as well.

Came 1 day after requesting service/fix from dealer after seeing this thread and being told by dealer fix not ready... Coincidence? No idea, but at least looks like things are finally moving here in Canada.

Unfortunately it’s not the labor. The Stek PPF material is $500 for a 10’ roll I believe. And you need 10’ for the cant rail.

I just got my mail notice delivered yesterday. Says I will be notified when parts are available. My issue is I have a 3rd party molle complete rack installed that will have to be fully disassembled and removed in order to do the repair/replacements. I am debating whether to NOT do the recall currently as I see zero evidence of the issues, or removing the rack and not putting it back on. It takes about 4 hours to reinstall once removed which would probably take 1-2 hours. I'm just not mentally prepared to go through all that currently...
