Honestly, if someone is trying to carjack me from my CT is just huck everything inside and lock it with sentry mode active.

Hopefully at some point the dunces that try this crap finally start to realize that every Tesla has a built in security suite and they back off.

The terminology is you shoot to stop. If taken to court and you use the phrase “ shoot to kill” it shows intent.
You always shoot to stop. Your defense is, I was in fear of my life.
The "I was in fear of my life" isn't a sure thing. If you shoot to kill there is no repercussions, Don't underestimate your opponent

When I lived in Washington state there were a few instances where somebody shot an intruder and than the home owner was being charged/sued.

Bottom line you want to eliminate the threat
