Center Rear Armrest/Cupholder Lowering Behavior ?

Once you pull the tab and lower it, does your rear armrest/cupholder have any resistance or a soft stop? Mine falls down and kind of bounces unless you help it down. I'm just curious if this is how it's designed or if there's an issue with mine. Our MY and M3 don't feel this loose when you lower them, but of course, the CT armrest/cupholder is much larger and heavier.

Mine bounces - not dampened at all.

Also, when in the up position it is not firmly in that position and exhibits plenty of slop. I've been told this is normal, but IMHO that makes it a crap design.

Ok, yeah, pretty crappy design. Curious if the '25 trucks are the same.

I have a 25 and same thing. Plenty of slop. Bad design
