Child seat (front facing) install in Cybertruck -- first look photo

Hey that’s the same car seat I use! For the booster seat I’m wondering how much trouble the teachers are going to have trying to open the door at drop off for my older one.

We have the same seat and same concern for the teachers ?

The doors on my C6 corvette have no handle. There is an indention in the body allowing access to the upper, trailing corner of the door edge with your fingers. A button under a flexible pad can be felt when you put your fingers in the indention and touch inside edge of the door. Pulling on the door edge with pressure on the button causes the door latch to electrically release and the door to open. All corvettes since 2005 have no handles and the latest version, C8, doesn't have an indention.

In my experience anyone who hasn't opened a C6 corvette door is puzzled by it and usually can't figure it out without some instruction, but so far I've able to teach everyone how to do it.

Teachers are usually pretty good at learning, too.

Nope. Far fewer miles were drive, far fewer people...

I know. I attribute more deaths in the 1950's and 1960's to cars without engineered crumple zones, less safe roads, worse tires, worse suspensions and less capable first responders (no jaws of life, etc.).

Given the much safer occupant protection of modern cars (airbags, engineered crumple zones, high-strength steels used to create occupant safety cages, etc), and much grippier radial tires with anti-lock braking systems, it requires less driver skill to stay alive.

You cannot appraise driver skill by the death rate when the safety environment and modern car capabilities are so dramatically different. Modern cars simply require much less skill to drive safely.

How easy is it for me to cancel my order?

My kid is almost 5 and can't see out most of the window of the Y. You should only cancel if you're number is before 369,420.

Otherwise, it's a safety risk putting your kids in and other vehicle. I was driving my Subaru to CarMax last week to sell it. I've only put 100 miles on it in the last three years since getting the Tesla and yet I paid more in maintenance for it somehow... anyways, while I was driving it down the freeway I realized how much harder it is to drive and how much safer the Tesla is. I couldn't in good conscience put my kids in any other vehicle after owning a Tesla. If anything ever happened I'd, for the rest of my life, wonder what could have been if I had just driven the Tesla.

Width wise, based on where the car seat ends and the butt cushion of the middle seat, looks like you could comfortably get 3 across of that seat (which is a lot like mine just slightly different)

First time poster. I have visited this site for quite sometime, thanks it is quite entertaining and informative.

Seeing these two pics each in different threads got me thinking, so I had to make an account and post to hear all of your thoughts.

The passenger seat looks like it is in two different positions in there’s photos that were suppose to be taken at the same time. Pushed back in photo one and pushed forward in photo two. (Look at the b pillar and seatbelt compared to back of seat)

Camera angle? Someone helping stage the photos?
