Maybe you'd benefit by calling and switching it yourself

Good point, let's see if we actually get some deliveries somewhere and I'll make the switch! :)

Picking up mine today from Aurora SC. I received vin on Monday and scheduled delivery for the same week. I’m guessing someone cancelled when they got their vin or denied delivery and I was next in line..
Don't leave us hanging! Did you pick it up? How was the experience? Details please 😂

Hahah, so everything went pretty good. The truck is amazing. I was surprised how quite it is compared to my Model Y. No true issues with truck other than a few cosmetics things -

The exterior passenger pillar seems to be misaligned. Apparently they can’t move this part? So they are gonna have to re-aligned the front and rear panel for that pillar to sit more flush with the body.

The under storage vault in the bed make a popping noise with the bed itself. The hinges are misaligned and causing it to rub on the bed.

The driver door is slightly pushed out and not sitting flush with the driver rear.

They said all those issues can be resolved in a future service appointment, and having to go through that process with my other Teslas, I wasn’t worried at all.

Still no hubcaps

ALSO!!! Apparently they changed the terms of 100 miles to rectify any cosmetic issues on delivery. The advisor let me know that if you leave the lot, they will not honor any issues that would not be considered under the basic warranty. So when you go pick yours up, literally inspect every inch of it and have them note it, even if you don’t plan to get it fixed right away.

Biggest takeaway? It gets WAYYYYYY too much attention haha. I went straight to get it tinted.

Happy to do a local meet up and talk more about it.

Advisor also said they had 6 in the back being staged for delivery.

I was told by Tesla yesterday, the truck is scheduled to arrive to Colorado on the 12th with possible delivery next week.
No more deliveries out of Littleton. I was given the choice between Aurora or the Springs. (I am 10 minutes away from the Littleton SC)
Be sure to get it out of your county to save big on sales tax! I have a whole thread on that!

One more regarding insurance. My insurance company lost their mind and quoted me $2700 every 6 months. I was able to get a quote from progressive online for $800 per 6 months. just an FYI

I read all your posts 2-3 weeks ago. Thank you for the information. I just received a confirmation my Cybertruck arrived yesterday to Arapahoe county (Aurora) I live in Douglas county.
Have you guys seen this (other) Colorado Rebate/Credit?

Thats great news! Hopefully that saved you some sales tax that you can put back in your pocket.

Yeah... the rebate is $5k! I will be interested in hearing from you guys to see if Tesla knocks that off the price or if you need to file for the credit when you do you 2024 taxes. This is double the reason to do this in 2024, because it goes down after this year.

Oh... one more tip. When you go in for registration at Douglas county, they may try to charge you for the delta. You need to be very clear to them that you bought in Aurora and the tax is correct. Sometimes the counties think you bought it locally or they try to get the full amount. You need to tell them otherwise. La PLata tried to pull that on me with my F350.

Price has to be under 80k for the credit I believe. But Tesla can't take that one off at tos yet
