Years before announcement of Mexico Gigafactory the people of Mexico have had the ability to make reservation for Cybertruck. As far as I know there are also many Cybertruck reservations from people in Australia.

I have 5 friend in Mexico that have Cybertruck reservations.

Class-8 truck makers and parts manufacturers with assembly plants and factories in Mexico include Freightliner, Kenworth, Navistar, Hino, International, DINA, MAN SE, Mercedes-Benz, Isuzu, Scania, Cummins, and Detroit Diesel, according to Anpact.

I’m amazed at how many reservation holders are now giving ultimatums that if a specific feature isn’t up to their standards, they are out.

This bodes really well for my reservation and how soon it will come up!!!

Two years ago I hypothesized that Mexico would be a good location for Tesla Gigafactory because the extensive number of free-trade agreements Mexico has.

Up to now, Tesla China factory has been the major export hub. Now Mexico Gigafactory will also be a export hub (not just to U.S.).

Mexico might export to Central America, South America, Eastern Africa, Caribbean Islands, Europe, and maybe Australia, New Zealand.

Cybertruck production needs no paint-shop. Cybertruck gigcastings for Mexico plant could be made at Austin TX and delivered to Mexico plant by Tesla Semi. Then empty Tesla Semi could visit parts suppliers in Mexico, load up with parts and return to Austin with parts for Austin production line. Gigafactory Mexico could also build vans based on Cybertruck platform. Once Gigafactory Mexico Cybertruck platform production ramps to high enough volume, Gigafactory Mexico could install their own 9T IRDA gigapress.

I think Cybertrucks for export might be made in Mexico and if Tesla desigbs a smakker Cybertruck (Wolverine) for world market that truck would be made in Mexico Gigafactory.

So I think there is a high probability that Australia will get all the Cybertrucks it has demand for.
