Converting the Squircle into a Yoke

You mentioned wanting to do this in order to have a clear view of a 2nd display. Since there is a lot of depth to the top of the dashboard, couldn't you simply move the display further forward?

Yes I did consider that, it is just harder to mount anything ontop of the flat felt trim securely. Also it would reduce the size of the display I can use.
