Cooling the back of the Cybertruck

I need your help and hope one of you has the solution! I have two children's car seats installed in the back seats of my Cybertruck. The AC/heater does not automatically turn on or stay on. I have to remember to manually turn it on every time I get in the car. Additionally, I turn it on from the back screen when I put them in their seats, but the moment I close their doors, it shuts it off and I have to remember again when I get in the front seat. How can I set it to ALEAYS ON or mirror the front seats?

Other than remembering to turn on the AC from the front touchscreen. You could try to put some lead weights under the car seats to trigger the occupancy sensors on the seats themselves to simulate someone sitting. It doesn't need to be a lot of weight, probably 10-15 lbs will work. I know this because my work bag weighs about 10 lbs and whenever I set it on the front or back seats it thinks someone is sitting there and the truck alerts me to "fasten the seatbelt".

I figure their car seat and their actual bodies (20+lbs) would be enough to trigger the sensors but perhaps not. I think the constant weight of the car seat makes the sensors think there is “stuff” there instead of human passengers. Need to figure this out.

I'll try to test it out later today and see what weight triggers the AC.

Strange. I have 2 car seats in the back too, haven't had this issue.

The truck doesn't distinguish if it's a human or stuff. If anything over 20lbs, in the manual, is on any seat it will trigger and always trigger. There could be something wrong with your sensor calibration and would recommend taking it in and tell them. I did for my front pass seat as it needed calibration.

It appears as though there is not a weight sensor in the back, but the AC is triggered on when the seatbelts are fastened. As soon as I attached the car seats using the seatbelts instead of the more sturdy posts, the AC flipped right on.

Then could you possibly just leave the middle seat fastened?

Yup! Tested this out. Can confirm. Good to know! One of my kid's seats used the strap and that was triggering it. Good find
