I took delivery of my CT on 09/25/24 and I absolutely love it. I am under 1000 miles and I noted that the truck is starting to give some creaks and crackling noises when I get on the the pedal. its when the truck is accelerating and stretching is when I hear it.
has anyone else experienced this?

Mine went into service 3 times for what I would describe as creaking. Mostly happened when turning. Culprit was the corner console. Took then a bit to solve it.

Tesla: "To maintain service life, the battery pack should be stored at a state of charge (SOC) of 15 to 50%."

All my Teslas do this. The X is the worst. I saw a video by Munro which explains it. Tesla uses compression mold interior instead of injection mold. So it's super lightweight but also super creaky.

What is the corner console?

Test drove one today and was mostly impressed but it was creaky , my wife was sure to point that out because she’s not a fan of the truck. I was expecting it to be quiet and that it was not.

Yeah it sucks. My only gripe with the truck. Every other issue has been fixed except this.

If this is a trend, hopefully Tesla is working on improvements to correct it. This is not something Tesla should want to be known for or accept as normal.

Tesla has touted focus on NVH in the past, so let's hope they mean it. Many of us are still waiting for the right time to pull trigger on Cybertruck invites due to where the economy has put us all, and have already painfully accepted the reality of it being more expensive but still want to order it anyway because of how awesome it is. But with that much of an investment, the Cybertruck needs to be as tight as any vehicle out there. If not, the haters will actually have something to point at.

Turn the music up and the issue goes away.
I was going to say this, too.

I have a Model 2022 YP, which does the same thing when I pull into driveways (which are somewhat parabolic here in Florida) on an angle. My guess is that torsional stress on the frame makes its way into just about every part of the car. My CT does not do this at all, and I think it might be because it is so heavy and seems much more sturdy structurally speaking.

My center console creeks too. Just started happening when I’m driving and take decent turns 30mph plus. Must be a little flex in truck or console just shifting slightly. Any clue how they fixed it? Seems like a home job with a wrench or screwdriver but haven’t looked into it yet.

Took them a while to sort it out. I think they put some thin rubber or padding down. There should be an internal service bulletin for the issue now.

This is a very odd poll. Choice #1 is "Yes, I hear noises when accelerating." Who couldn't pick this one (considering there is no such thing as an EV that doesn't make noises when accelerating).

But the title of the poll is "Cracking and Stretching Noises" which is a really odd way to describe any normal Cybertruck noises. Nothing is cracking (or you have some real serious problems) and what the heck is a "stretching" noise? Most, but not all, things that stretch do so without making obvious noises.

The disconnect from reality is so severe, I suspect this poll was created to create the impression that the Cybertruck is not a solidly built truck, which is actually one of its biggest strengths. Every time I load it with too heavy of a load in the bed, I note how solidly it drives (and with no creaking or groaning). The first couple of times I over-loaded it I was amazed, now I just expect it.

This poll should either be re-written to make actual sense or it should be retired so as not to confuse non-owners coming here looking for solid information.
