Then you have to live with it. It's not a big deal.
Agreed.

Mine is in my garage which is right next to our TV room and kitchen. I’ve had zero issues with it. When I walk into the garage, the tail lights will flash but that’s it.

I was always under the impression it did that to thwart any bad actors that walk near the truck but realized it’s only when my phone is on me.

You should also notice the little white lights on the open door buttons all light up also.

Yes, good point, and I do. I like how the door button lights light up...it's like Cybertruck is welcoming you to enter the vehicle (and it helps see where the buttons are in the dark).

With an Android phone, you COULD "turn off bluetooth at this location".

The concerning part to me is mine engages/disengages the charging relay (clunck sound) and starts the HVAC each time. My home office borders one wall of my garage and master bedroom borders the other side. I can hear, through the wall, the relay engage every time I enter or exit the rooms. Can't be healthy/efficient over the long-term. This feature needs an "exclude home" option IMO.

You know; I wonder if it has anything to do with the hand free frunk option. Need to try disabling that and see if this still happens. Cause it makes sense that would have to wake the vehicle when you get near it.

I had the same thought and will disable that when I get a chance. I also don’t like that feature now that I’ve tried it a couple of times.

Doesn't make any difference, I don't use the hands free frunk option because I don't like it, truck still wakes up.

I imagine in this case it’s a bug as other models are not doing this.

I've turned off bluetooth on my phone (Samsung) and it still recognizes me and wakes up. I guess it's using cellular or wifi when bluetooth is off.
The phone can communicate to the car without bluetooth, but can it know where you are? Isn't UWB part of bluetooth?

Id assume so.. I keep my bluetooth off when im not using the car and it still wakes up when I get close. Also the car can tell me where it is from my phone without bluetooth, so I'd assume the reverse is possible too. Maybe it uses wifi when bluetooth is off. I haven't tested it to see if it still does it with bluetooth off and not at home where it has wifi.
