CT Windshield Replaced - Error Message and Gear Selector Falls Off

Hello CT friends,

I had my windshield replaced on Friday due to an area of distortion. Today, the Gear Selector piece keeps falling down. I tried to snap it back in, however, it keeps falling down. Is there something special about snapping it back in place (i.e. up/down motion)>

In addition, I am getting an a "Climate keeper unavailable due to system fault" message. The HVAC will not turn on remotely; but seems to run on manual fine. Auto keeps blowing air only into the leg area. From other thread, I believe this is related to the temp/humidity sensor. I did try to reboot.

I have an appointment but their earliest availability is next month. I will try to escalate.

Any suggestions on at least getting the gear selector to snap back in place as it kind of annoying.

Are you referring to the backup gear selector above the rear view mirror? Tesla has a low probability, but occasional problem, with decorative covers having bad plastic clips that break. May just need to be replaced.
