I timed a 2.6 second 0-60 on a slightly uphill road with a passenger with a beast launch.

A non-launch mode 0-60 in medium height seems to be very dependent on traction and tire temperature. The 60ft zone often is slow, as the tires are slipping and traction control is working hard. To the point it feels like the v-tech kicks in yo! At about 30mph when the tires get grip.

I still think Tesla is sandbagging the 0-60 launch. I’ve never had a vehicle be so consistent, with zero tire temperature prep, on different roads. And I’ve yet to see any time with a proper sticky summer tire.
@RickJ19Zeta8 - what are you using to time?

I only drive in beast mode on the road.
BEAST - People think when I "dump the accelerator" in beast mode that it is a launch. This mode is always drives in LOW, has max acceleration, and most sensitive steering. I could not keep up with my brothers GTR if he still had it but any normal average sports car it will beat in acceleration and steering. If they are spending more than the cyberbeast $$ wise then it is probably a challenge.

NORMAL - I believe is still in LOW, has good steering, and good acceleration. Not quite the sports car performance.

CHILL - reminds me of driving a normal vehicle. Higher suspension, "loose" steering, slow acceleration. (think ICE vehicle)

CUSTOM - lets you basically do what you want with all three settings.

LAUNCHING - this is just fun (only available in beast mode, custom set the same way does not do the same thing). The best seat in the house is the middle back seat (remember the headrest). All I can say is it feels like the acceleration of a roller coaster.

Honestly I'm waiting for a cop to pull me over for 'racing' at some point because when you just press the accelerator down part way it just goes. I don't dump/mash/slam the throttle off the line when I'm driving. I also tend to wait 1-2 seconds to make sure there's no late traffic. The truck just goes. Getting in and driving like you would any other car easily gets you 10 car lengths ahead of other cars from a light and you are at the speed limit.

Oh, and I have conservatively 50+ launches. Probably more than 100. Every launch takes 1-2% of the battery. It does not launch as well down at somewhere between 50-60% depending on who you talk to. The other cyberbeast owner I know has 2x to possibly 3x the launches I have.

Hello - I agree for sure. I don't see how you can beat the performance value for the money. Its funny to see the SRT Dodges or RAMs try to think they can challenge you. They always give a thumbs up after I slow down for them, lol. Take Care!

How was the ride? Is it tolerable or jarring/stiff and uncomfortable?
Drive mine in beast all the time. The ride is very good. Not jarring at all. Just very controlled. and have not used launch mode yet. No place nearby wide open. Have just mashed it and its crazy make you dizzy fast.

I just read a post where someone said after the 14.1 update the beast mode launches feel faster. I just did one and it does seem quicker like a secret update where they did something has anyone tried a beast launch on the newest 14.1 etc.
