I'm not 100% sold on the wheels tbh. The added range is nice, but it looks like you're riding on floaties.
I am not either, but it's not like it will be a huge issue to change them out eventually.

I wanted the All Season Tires bc the other ones just aren't super great in the snow, I'll be in the snow more than I'll be offroading.

"Floaties" made me laugh. It does lol

Cyberbeast likely ends up in the same price bracket as the Model X Plaid, it doesn't make any sense it would be materially higher or lower once this is in mature production. That also means 2026 at the earliest.

Regarding the mid-late Cyberbeast quotes, that's the same thing I was told and I'll be taking delivery this month. I'm not sure if I'm an outlier, or if they are bumping beasts up. I'm NY delivery.

Do you really think the cyber beast is going to sell for $60,000? That’s absolutely never going to happen and especially by next year ?! So you basically passed on the faster model just so that you can receive a little bit more attention?
How old are you that you still crave the attention?
You realize 0-60 times means nothing when your vehicle tops out at 130mph right? What's the point of going 0-60 in 2 seconds then topping out at ~130mph? You would end up getting destroyed in any real world race, unless your plan is to pull off from red lights really fast over and over again.

And yes, I do believe the Cybertruck will be 60k soon. It's designed the way it is to push out high volumes at low costs. That was the entire point of it from the start. They're just upcharging early desperate customers right now just like they did with the X and Plaid. Those vehicles had drastic price drops after about a year, and those are way more expensive to produce than the Cybertruck.

The X plaid is way more expensive to produce than the Cybertruck. The Cybertruck is streamlined in every way possible to be produced as cheaply as possible.

But going back to your order, When did you place the cyberbeast order and how long did it take to get the VIN? I may change to a beast if the timeframe is shorter than the estimate.

Long term 60k is feasible IMO, for the awd. But beast will likely not drop below 90 any time soon.

We haven't even made it to the advertised prices yet.

So you’d rather settle for the AWD just to have it a few months earlier? Why wouldn’t you just wait and get the truck you want?
Having driven model x plaid, standard model s and 3 and Y, extra acceleration in a tesla beyond model standard is excessive for what is needed in everyday driving. AWD is already 3rd or 4th fastest truck ever.

If people the thrill or you want to take it on track or you want somewhat better off roading get the beast. I didn't think 20k for an extra 1.2 to 1.5 sec of 0 to 60 time was worth it.

Every person on here that ordered the AWD keeps using the same excuse for why they didn’t order a beast. “Why do they need all that power“. It’s basically just an excuse because they were impatient and didn’t want to wait.
When did I use that excuse? I straight up said that I wanted a beast but it’s not worth the extra wait time imo.

Having one of the first Cybertrucks in my city is far more valuable to me than having a Cyberbeast almost a year later when the roads are saturated with Cybertrucks.

You are paying for an entire 3rd motor.
Extra 250hp.
Light bar.
Plus it worth not having that feeling when somebody asks you if it’s Cyber Beast and you have to explain to them it’s the slower, less powerful version.
I'm not saying you are getting nothing for 20k more but for me:
Don't need the light bar. Not street legal to use so it will sit off more than on for vast majority of owners.
The extra horsepower is not something I need in any normal driving situation.
I don't care about explaining myself to anyone. 20k still in my pocket needs no explaining.

If I thought I needed the extra HP or did a lot of track racing I would wait. It just didn't fit with my needs. I would also say having an extra motor could be a source of mechanical problems as best part is no part per tesla.

I respect the decision to get a cyberbeast and some people want the top of line in everything. I didn't think the beast was safer or better in any way that fit what I needed/wanted.

Because the entire point of an early reservation holder is to get the vehicle early. That’s the whole appeal. To be one of the firsts to get the cybertruck.

The prices are going to nose dive also, there’s probably like 500k people that’s desperate for this vehicle. There will be no demand after that. I believe this truck will be selling for 50k by 2025 and the cyberbeast will be around 60k. So if I really want a cyberbeast I’ll just buy it when there’s more supply than demand in a year. Until then I’ll go with the AWD and be one of the first in my city to have a cybertruck.
Man, I really hope that is the case and frankly agree given the relatively small market for this kind of vehicle. But your pricing would imply that they essentially run through all the reservations next year (since no resale premium). Just something worth noting, though I do agree this is the most likely outcome.

1/2 order for Beast. VIN 4/28. Fingers crossed delivery this week.

Regarding the Cyberbeast, I do think the eventual goal will be to get it to $79,999 so it is eligible for the tax incentive. I imagine the cost difference narrows between trims and the AWD is $69,999 and RWD is $57,999. I think this happening next year is nearly impossible, I'd guess late 2026 or 2027 before prices are like this.

2025 will be the year of the $72k AWD after tax rebate. 2026 will be the year of the $54k RWD after rebate.
