Too bad they couldn't get those Toyota solid-state cells with a 800-mile range that charge in 2 minutes
They have to be working on that tech too.

My number one reason to purchase the Cybertruck tri-motor configuration was the 500 mile range.
I'm not purchasing an extra battery that takes up bed space that is so crass . Hopefully by 2025 Tesla can get to 500 mile range. Otherwise I'll wait another 2 to 3 years for Toyota to come out with their solid state battery that is suppose to have a 700 mile range. An AWD EV Tacoma, Tundra or Hiace van would be sweet.

What is really important to me is real world driving range at interstate speeds. If it is as efficient as my 2 quad-motor Rivians; I'm SOLD! CyberBeast for me :geek:

They really need a rental option for the range extender with some quick automated installation. back into a stall at a service center and it drops the range extender in for those long trips and then you give it back when you are done.

Yes definitely.

I live in the northeast and regularly drive approx 170 miles to my second home.

In the winter this will require an additional stop to charge. If I’m gonna pay 100k for a truck it would be nice to be able to make a 200 mile trip without stopping.
There are a lot of people here that don’t ā€˜get’ that. I do.
