Why is it weird? It's been relatively well known that none have been built for normal customers this year.

I think they are being built, probably only a handful a day. If they are producing 60-80 a day, I'd guess 5 are cyberbeasts. Unfortunately, many of these are probably going to "special" people for the time being.

I'd go more along the line of if 60-80 per day, then maybe 5 per month. They are no where near 1%.

It's weird because they are building and delivering them, just very very slowly.

What's weird is people expecting a sales guy to have a clue what's going on at the factory for a truck that wasn't promised the for many more months.

Early 24 is different from Q1. Ends April 30th.

Early 24 is different from Q1. Ends April 30th.

If we are splitting the year into “early” “mid” and “late”, then it would make sense to split the year into 4 month groups. Only problem with that is no one can make sense of teslas delivery schedule. I’ve seen orders as late as 12/15 (or within a couple days of that) see “early 2024” for the cyberbeast deliveries, so I’d hope my 12/9 order would be delivered just a bit sooner than end of April. The wait continues.

I wouldn't say that no one can make sense of Tesla delivery schedule. They are pretty much on target for my estimates from release.
I mean, isn't there a thousand+ articles on how Tesla gives aggressive schedules?

In January, I was saying that I hoped that I'd get it in Jan, but I expect it March 31, although it will probably be June.

I mean with a Jan-Mar delivery and a ramped production, it's amazing how many people were expecting theirs on the second week of January.

It's amazing that Tesla was telling people january was in the range of possible delivery dates. Stop trying to shift this onto people who were just using the information tesla gave them and assuming it wasn't a lie.



"Jan-Mar" does not mean

Jan: 0 deliveries
Feb: 0 deliveries
Mar: half of the deliveries
Apr: half of the deliveries
