8) Long term shareholder: yes, but had already configure CT when program started. No clue if this moved me up the list for expedited delivery.

Checked the app and I just got a VIN. It wasn’t there an hour ago. No email, text or app notification; it just showed up.

Just another data point: A friend picked up his beast in Northern CA yesterday. RN was 11287xxx. I know he reserved early-ish, but didn't configure until 2/20/24 or so.

I'm a bit bummed, having configured 2 months before he did and still nothing from Tesla.

Just another data point: A friend picked up his beast in Northern CA yesterday. RN was 11287xxx. I know he reserved early-ish, but didn't configure until 2/20/24 or so.

I'm a bit bummed, having configured 2 months before he did and still nothing from Tesla.

Assuming there is economy in shipping in large batches, it would make sense for Tesla to do regional batches. And I figure there might be another constraint of when they configure for a manufacturing run of Beasts. At least it’s not like they are doing a run of ultra-red with white interiors this week and lunar silver with cream interiors next.

I think the regional batching idea would make sense. Plus there may be some regional training that has to happen, too.

He also got a text out of the blue saying "want to come pick it up now?", so it's possible it was intended for someone who configured earlier but couldn't pull the trigger at the last minute for some reason. ?‍
