I also got the “stealth” beast badging (very faint). I am cool with the subdued beast.
I haven't heard about this. Are some of the Cyberbeasts coming with fainter badging than the early versions?

That sounds like something that might happen if the production line speed has been upped and Tesla didn't want to spend money on faster, more powerful lasers (or more lasers). They might just increase the etching speed.

With a zero to 60 mph time of 2.6 seconds, I don't think any rational person should use the word "subdued" and "Cyberbeast" in the same sentence. This is just wrong. I drove my wife's new Model 3 Performance halfway home from the Delivery Center today and the 0.2 second faster 0-60 time compared to my 2018 M3P was real. It added a significantly noticeable sense of urgency to the acceleration (and the old Performance Model 3 already feels like a watermelon seed squirted out between your fingers). I've never driven a Cyberbeast but I know that fainter laser etching isn't going to tame the Beast, not even a little bit!

Dual Motor Cybertruck is subdued excitement.

Hello All!

Ordered my beast yesterday 9/9, Tactical Grey/AT

Is white really the key to expediting delivery here? I feel like we will see a huge wave of tactical soon as it has been in production for awhile.

Pre order was 12/11/2019

RN 113XXXXXX

Located in SoCal and assigned Marina Del Rey for delivery

Wondering if anyone has experience or rumors in this area for timing on order to VIN and delivery?

In typical Tesla fashion they said no estimated anything at this time.

TIA!

Somebody else had photos of a fainter beast insignia recently. I didn’t notice any other beasts to compare mine to but it’s very subdued.

Here’s a photo of my tailgate after a light rain.

That looks like mine. I have to be in just the right light to see mine.

Here's mine in optimal conditions:

That means your truck will pass through the dreaded Mira Loma Grave Yard, otherwise known as the Cybertruck Bermuda Triangle. Good luck, you're going to need it!

Was supposed to pick my Cyber Beast up tomorrow in KC. Got a text from "Jane" that it has been delayed in transit. Now I have to wait 2 more weeks.
I'm guessing a lot of these logistics employees hate Elon.

Your truck might already be here then. Both a blessing and a curse. You got somebody else's reject, but at least it won't have to pass through Union Pacific's crappy facility.

Somebody else’s “reject” could well be “I put down my deposit and then another $1000 to order a FS edition but really expected I’d be able to get a non-FS…”

It will be bad man. Here's how it will play out. After a few months you'll get a VIN. Great! Then it will get loaded on a train and head for California. It will land in Mira Loma Railyard. There it will sit and be delayed indefinitely. After a few weeks even your delivery center will get sick of waiting and declare the vehicle lost in transit. You can then either take someone else's rejected car, if one is available, or you can have Giga Texas start making you you another one. Wash, rinse and repeat.
I don’t get the hate for “someone else’s rejected car”. With the Beast, there’s 2 options: white and grey. It’s not like you aren’t getting the myriad of options you wanted.

We have someone else’s rejected grey VIN in the 25k range sitting in the garage now. I’d love to thank whoever rejected it because we were past 160 days of waiting.

I’ve had my Beast for a few days now and am continually having to stop myself from taking it for a spin at every chance. But I just noticed it’s raining so I have ti take it for a drive *right now* to wash some bugs off the front end and do another operational check of the BAW.

Trust me, it is so worth the wait!

Because although it's still considered "new" the history of the car becomes questionable. You don't know why it was rejected. Buyer changed his mind? Found a problem? How many hands has it gone through? How long has it been rejected? Same with a car that's been sitting at the Union Pacific Mira Loma Jurupa Valley Auto Distribution Center Lot for a month. What happened to the car during that time? Someone took it for a joy ride? Got in an accident then repaired? You don't know.
