Will shoot some pics for you when I’m done with my shift. Velcro is what I did.
Three pieces of loop in the recessed grooves between the “stripes” and a single piece of hook on the bottom of the battery. Not even sure this is necessary because it’s pretty caged in there so there is zero risk of it going anywhere to have a drink or meet ladies, but I wanted it not to get knocked around.
After about a week of using it, I added my usb hub right on top of it too so it’s confined from moving upwards as well.
In other words, the Velcro was probably overkill.
I probably could have used a little piece of nano tape and called it a day or even not secured it at all.
Thank u

I should have documented a little better when I was actually installing it. Sorry. It was hot AF in Phoenix and I was doing this outside so I kind of rushed through it. Here are some pics from the driver and passenger side with the seat all the way back.
Wires are a little messy back there because I also have my usb hub tucked in the same space. The space between the fridge and the little plastic side rails of the center tunnel is a great place to hide cables.
Both my phone chargers, my Starlink and my dashboard “hub”thingy are all powered from that same place.

Fwiw, it’s been running uninterrupted for the better part of a week now using only usb-c with zero issues and my car goes to sleep.

I may message you later this week with some questions if that's ok. I may move forward with trying one if it's not much of a drain on the battery. I have free supercharging for a year, drive maybe 50-100mi a week and would rarely use it. But still, it's so cool.

Of course. Happy to help any way I can. If anyone is anywhere near Phoenix also happy to do it in person.
On my Amazon it shows up as prime same day delivery. The important part about prime is that it’s eligible for uncle Bezos generous return policy. If you don’t like it, drop it off at Whole Foods. I have a ton of power station stuff so I was like “do I really need this?” but it’s literally perfect for the application in my opinion.

I’ve fueled his yacht at least once now. In fact, just had a delivery an hour ago of a HydroFlask mug that should be perfect for the CT that my buddy is going to engrave the graffiti and angular truck on a couple of them for me.

I’ll pull the trigger on the power supply once I decide on a fridge. So many options to pour $ into my truck. Want to get it wrapped too but can’t decide on a color so I’m going to wait some time to see what’s out there.

Two questions. Can u please add the link for the eBay 12v connector cable. Additionally is it possible to remove the battery without taking the fridge out?

Ok. Question one. Could only find one in England but they shipped it here in less than a week.

Question two. Yes, but only from the passenger side and you have to take off the back half of the split trim piece that comes with the fridge. Your situation may be different but I have one of those underseat fingerprint ID safes o.n the drivers side. I think you would still need to pull the trim piece out but I’m not sure.
That why the “can’t come loose” connector was important enough to me to ship a shitty piece of plastic across the ocean.

After reading through all the threads I think this may be the best solution with smallest footprint I can find thus far.

But about recharging the battery do you connect to the usb in the truck? Or do you have to take out the battery ?

Im sorry if this is a stupid question.

Also the vhb tape for light bar still going strong? I've been reading all these posts how Tesla has stopped installing again...

Thanks for your help you've been helpful but also very bad influence

That’s exactly right. I’ve made myself crazy trying to figure out what condition causes it to turn off. It’s almost completely at random. that was how I wanted to run my fridge at first too.
If the big power station thing seems clunky to you, there are little batteries that can charge off of usb though also and are plenty for when the car is level 2 charging overnight. .
My most recent approach is this little battery from bouge rv.

It fits nicely in the space previously allocated for the ac to dc power brick. Ultimately I scratched the cover housing for access and probably slightly better ventilation because you can’t see it anyway unless you pull the seat all the way back.
So….battery but with zero footprint in the cabin or frunk.

Thank you. You never take the battery out. Basically don’t touch it. Just the usb to top it off. That’s why I used a locking lighter plug. So I’d never have to fiddle with it. You forget it’s there.
Mine is also hooked up to my bed eyes. That’s what I use the usb-a output on the battery for. Because those reset whenever they turn off.
So they too are always on, with the fridge.

Mostly here. I hang out enough that people show me all kinds of cool shit to spend money on. Lol.
my wife knows this. Not sure she knows I’m one of the instigators in chief. lol.
this particular thing I got from this thread posted by my friend @Oden's Beast. Thanks again W.

I just modified it a tiny bit to the rear window of the truck.
Anyway…any purchases you all make and any pursuant effects on your marriage are not within the scope of my responsibility.
you are grown ass adults with enough money to buy a Cybertruck and all the other shit you have bought for it. I’m just relaying information.
