Hey guys- wanted to see if anyone had a video posted on the process of removing the cybertent from the truck. Not the setup of the tent, but actual removal. Trying to decide what to do with my voucher, and I’m hesitant to select cybertent if it’s going to be a whole process to fully remove if I’m not using. Or if it’s even recommended to remove it yourself rather than take to backed up service center. Thanks in advance!!

The removal process is simple, definitely don’t need the SC but the tent is a bit heavy. Sorry I don’t have a video, but it’s just two screws to remove from the back corners, then pick up the box (90lbs) and carry/slide it out.

I had been leaving the tent in, but ended up taking it out for a week to haul some bigger items. It took less than 5 minutes. All the hardware that is initially installed stays in (rails, etc.). The re-install is just as simple, but it took a bit of wiggling to line up the two screws in the back corners that secure it back down.

Of note, the moly panels don’t fit with the tent installed - they had to be completely removed. Also you lose access to a fair portion of the L-Track due to the tent rails, but there’s still quite a few spots open for snap in hooks/rings/etc.

Awesome thanks so much for the feedback!

I just removed mine to load some stuff in the truck. Indeed there are only 2 long screws that are holding it. You need to unfold the tent halfway then you will see them in the middle L track bracket. I think it's a T25. Here's the installation instructions and you can work backwards from this:

You don't need to unfold the tent to remove these screws. I take my tent out and put it back in quite frequently. The screws are definitely a little hidden by the tent cover, but they are still easily accessible.

As others have said, less than five minutes to take the tent out or put it back in. It's a bit heavy and awkward to maneuver on your own, but definitely doable.

Oh ok, so you just do it from the side with like a super long screwdriver?

It is quick and easy as everyone says, less than 5 minutes. I ended up getting dedicated torx driver with handle to use (instead of using the mini angled tool that came with the tent). Makes lining up the holes on install so much easier (and speeds up removal).

Not my video but this guy demonstrates what I think you’re asking.
