But this IS good news for our friends in the East!
Sales of new models tend to spread out geographically from the place of manufacture. Until Cybertruck production lines are opened on another continent, OZ won't get a supply until the local markets that don't require a ship, like Canada, are supplied. The steering waiver in Canada is mostly just bureaucratic red tape that couldn't persist for long anyway.
Aussies and Kiwis are going to LOVE the Cybertruck, especially when the pricing is more affordable for your typical truck buyers.

I'm based in Vancouver, Canada, and received an email today saying my Foundation Series Cybertruck is ready to configure. When I log in, the web page asks me to "Design your Cybertruck", but it currently links to a dead page. I suspect that will be resolved quickly. Looks like Canadian deliveries are happening soon.

Well, the configuration page is on a Tesla Canada web address, and my profile shows me living in Canada. If I use the globe icon to force it to the US web address, it then lets me configure. ?‍

The Cybertruck isn't approved for sale in Canada yet. Any invitation to configure is in error.

Just following up on this, contact Tesla. As much as I'd like to boot you from the queue and get my truck earlier, you need to get your rez switched to Canada. There was a glitch and some Canadians had their orders placed on the US site. Tesla will help you, but if you don't contact them you won't be in the Canadian queue.
