As a new EV owner myself, I can't wait to experience all those things when I take delivery of my Cybertruck!!
My delivery of the CB was delayed from yesterday to Sunday. They’re trying to get 2nd quarter deliveries as high as possible. So excited to get my first Tesla.

There a ton of reasons EVs are better, but on top of that, there are a ton of reasons a Tesla is better than other EVs. We rented a Kia EV (thanks for not having any Tesla's Hertz even though they let you reserve a Tesla!), and it was nice, but you still had to "Start" it, it had a key, etc...

I jumped in my old 2004 Dodge Ram yesterday. The steering and braking was the first thing I noticed. It was the Dodge steering wheel I was hacking on. Felt like I was driving a 1960s Ford Galaxy 500. You really adapt quickly to the new tech.
100%!!! When I got into my old truck it was like steering a boat. Massive difference in steering responsiveness.

I remember many years ago in drivers education, they bright in a simulator for us to learn on. It was a little old.
Most of the folks were failing dramatically, they couldn't make the turns and lost points. It took me a few minutes to realize it, but indeed it was modelled after something similar to the Ford Galaxy.
Once I realized it, I knew to turn right, I'd just provide enough force to make sure that the wheel mad about 3 rotations for a 90 degree turn. I started passing it.

Compared to less than 90 degrees on the Cybertruck!

I finally got my MINI Cooper S back late last week (long story short, hit a deer at low speed earlier this year). I have many thousands of miles behind the wheel of several MINIs over the years and they've always been super fun with their quick, agile steering. Coming from putting almost 2k miles on my Cybertruck over the past month, however, it was shocking how different the MINI now feels.

The steering wheel felt comically large and I'm just not used to having to turn it so much to steer the car. It took quite a while to get used to it again. And that doesn't even take into account the rest of the automation mentioned in this thread like having to start it manually and having to put it into sport mode every-damn-time. The MINI doesn't even have proximity locks - I have to physically press a button on the key fob to lock or unlock the car.

I could swap between my Model Y and the MINI pretty easily, but the Cybertruck takes things to a whole 'nother level ...

Which was bigger? The deer or the Mini?
