It's scheduled for tomorrow at 1:00!! I went to use the app and reschedule right after posting here, but the option was suddenly gone - It had been there since yesterday. A little bit later, Tesla texted me saying it was ready and I could schedule it from the app again. Hoping it is (actually) ready and has the wiper situation resolved!

Are you going over today to get it or just waiting for Saturday? My delivery was not very pleasant so hopefully yours is much better and shorter.

I still have not figured out how to contact them so they can do a full detail to my CT that they did not do on delivery. Maybe you could ask them about it for me and let me know what they say.

They didn’t offer today in the text. It was tomorrow or Sunday. I went with tomorrow at 1:00. So I’ll wait for that and hope it doesn’t get canceled at the last minute as I’ve seen happening around here occasionally. And yeah, I’ll try to remember to ask about the post-delivery detailing for ya!

Just heard that all Cybertruck deliveries have been halted for about a week. Apparently a new safety issue was discovered with the windshield wiper motor.

This issue is all over the place
I, like many others - have used my wiper a fair amount with no issue 6k vin range.

Others say “never worked”

Perhaps a specific source issue? Temperature issue? Who knows…

Perhaps subsequent production iteration was faulty- so some before got working ones??

Keeping an eye on this AND a bottle of rainX.

I just got a message from them saying " we are awaiting parts at this time but keep you posted. We can put you on as schedule for Thursday and adjust as needed." so that means that I am not going to get delivery in near future.

I got the text message to schedule my delivery and the closest time was next Tuesday, 6/25 at 10:30. I’m not sure if that means I’m not affected, they had the parts to replace the motor or they just scheduled something so I would leave them alone knowing they’ll push it off next week. Hard not to be cynical but crossing my fingers I take delivery next week!

Just an update, I did pick up my AWD in Princeton today. It was in great shape and it was so much fun to drive home.

I noticed 3 other trucks waiting for delivery so hopefully some of you will be getting your trucks soon.
