FWIW, as of today Tesla is offering me $20K less than I paid for the Lightning 15 months ago.

at the same time, 15 months ago my trade-in ICE F150 I got only $4,000 less than I paid for it 3.5 years earlier

win some, lose some.

Combined, that averages to $420/mo of depreciation

I sold my 3 right before the big EV shortage because of the CT announcement... got stuck driving my silveraydo for a year before I caved and bought my MY. Only saving grace is my interest rate is amazing.

Then my wife refused to sell her civic during the all used cars shortage. and now that its worth nothing, wants to trade it for the CT and have me give her my MYP...
