I would very much like to see a Cybervan release, but I'm not sure it will be at the CT delivery event.

The Cybervan might be a multi country model from the start, built in Mexico.

And it won't be the boring tunnel mock-up version. I hope it's at least eTransit size, if not Sprinter, but with different wheelbases and length, all on the Cybertruck platform, with stainless would be awesome. But I'm not sure if it will work for a van.

I'm not sure that would apply to the unboxed assembly line method as such, let alone to the Cybertruck made into a cybervan. The only thing you could reuse there is the structural pack and drivetrain. None of the cabin, casts or body will work for a van, as they all have a flat floor from rear to front seats. Also large side panel sheets of SS on a van are harder to get straight etc. It won't come off the same line I'm pretty sure.

Besides Tesla won't have a demand problem for a while and their manufacturing Portfolio Is already way more diverse for sales than any other, like Megapacks etc, where they can send excess capacity too.

Since we're playing armchair CEO I think a CyberSuv made in GFTX would make a lot of sense given the removal of the sixth seat from Cybertruck. They'd be able to achieve far higher part commonality than with a commercial van, which they'd probably be better off making in Mexico both for cost of manufacturing and free trade agreements for export.

I don't think they will announce a new vehicle at the delivery event. It's possible they will unveil different accessories though: Quad, RV/travel trailer, etc. Possibly some Optimus updates. That will be enough to pump stock and increase interest, they can save a new vehicle for another time.
LOL. This Stock isn't going anywhere. Especially after all the dumpster fire schit that he says.

The Cybervan is a no brainer. I would be shocked if Tesla was NOT secretly developing one.

Tesla Cybertruck Tesla Van unveil at Cybertruck delivery event? 811E1A71-D4AA-4CCA-8C92-01243FC24E73

Mr. Musk is alienating a lot of potential buyers and current owners from the Tesla brand with his most recent Tweets. He must be driving the board of directors crazy right now.

One fundamental mistake people make is that he is doing the things he does to make money. He is not. He is only making money to do the things he wants to do, and those things cost so much governments can't even afford to do it. Not even the USA.

So if you are a shareholder to make money you are in the wrong boat, but if you are a shareholder because you want to change the world and fund going to Mars, then your goals will align.

His concern is for people, because also it's people who build things, and he is also naturally resistant to resources being mis-allocated to war, in that it diminishes his efforts to get to Mars.

These things are all connected and relevant to his mission.

Zero chance of any distracting ‘new’ product announcement at delivery event

And zero chance of a cybervan anytime soon

Tesla has already clearly and several times said what next two products are on the roadmap - and they mean it

Not sure why Ford would make the electric van and give it a small battery pack.
When I looked at them 3 years ago, the range was like 115 Miles. Sure I can go for a week, but most people would want a comparable battery like the lightning truck.

A van is what I use for the past 40 years for plumbing.
