The accident happened in the Alxa Desert in Inner Mongolia. The Cybertruck rolled down a steep hill and it appears to be badly damaged. It was a gray-imported truck. It was not registered for use on the road and not insured. See photo for the truck before the crash. It was wrapped but otherwise standard. The Cybertruck is not officially marketed in China so Tesla shops won't be able to repair it. There are about a dozen gray-import Cybertrucks in China at the moment. Gray market import also happened with the Tesla Model S and X before these cars were officially launched on the Chinese market. The S and X, however, could be legally registered for road use. The Cybertruck cannot.
